whoa! thats a very handy unit. have you tried it with both blutooth and wifi? ifso, which do you prefer? i see that the wifi com is also able to connect to routers, assuming that is so you can control it with any computer connected to that router also but they dont describe exactly why the router connection so not sure.
this kit looks to be right on! thanks for posting it up here. the sales link is broken though but I should be able to find it elsewhere with the previous info you posted.

Wifi vs Bluetooth is more just a preference and what you really want to use. I will say this. Wifi is great for remote automation. You can network and use remote accessing. We use this on rvs a lot for clients to be able to retract awnings if away from the RV and the weather gets bad. Also for remote locking of doors if the forgot. Etc etc etc.
