Is there anyone on here that might be able to either point me in the right direction or help me activate a smart start system? Bought one from ebay to save a few bucks, and once it's here I'm going to add it to my viper system, but I can't find anywhere to activate it. Found a few threads here that had people who were able to help via PM, but some of the threads were made 5 years ago.

Hello!

Are you still able to activate a smart start?

I just upgraded mine through viper during my renewal. I swapped out the dsm350 for the 550 myself, but there aren’t any authorized directed installers close to me. :(

i called viper they activated mine over the phone , no questions asked
