I have Addictive Audio subwoofers (V3s) and am thinking about giving their components or coaxial speakers a try. I should say that I would rather just replace the existing speakers instead of making custom spots for the new ones. I also plan on replacing my tweeters with theirs as well. That being said there are 2 tweeters in the A pillars, 2 5x7 in the front doors and 2 5x7 in the rear deck along with the subs in the trunk. Would you suggest the coaxial or the components?

If your happy with the sound level I would recommend the Elite series coaxial. If you want a lot more output then components and a amp to drive them would be the next level if you want to use the addictive brand all around. It's my opinion that if you want true clarity especially highs then silk tweeters are the only way to go. The Elite coaxial have 1" silk infused aluminum tweeters. Since you have subs you don't need more lows so you will be tuning the 5x7's to a narrower freq. to reproduce more mid-range and highs. If you still want more high's the replacing the pillar tweeters with a silk based one will get you what you want.
Hope this helps.
