I just installed a DBALL2 (standard install), and the OEM start doesn't work now. I even removed the DBALL2 and went back to stock, and the OEM remote start still doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks!

On What?
What type of install? Alarm, Alarm/Remote Start. Aftermarket R/S
GM vehicles have a Oem R/S limit of 2 starts before key needs to be used to reset the limit. This even applies with aftermarket control of OEM R/S.
Full aftermarket R/S install is the only way around this limit!

Doh! I forgot all those details, sorry I was tired. :)
It's an 08 GMC Sierra. Standard DBALL2 install with aftermarket R/S. But even removing it all, going back to stock, starting truck with key, then trying factory R/S after with fob, nothing happens.. no flashing lock indicator or anything.

GM has a TSB that states:
The RVS System WILL NOT operate if any of the following conditions are present:
^     A current vehicle DTC that illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is set - obtain vehicle DTCs.
^     Keyless Entry Transmitter is not Operational.
^     The vehicle is in Valet Mode.
^     RVS is Disabled through Vehicle Personalization.
^     More than 2 Remote Starts have been attempted.
^     The HAZARD switch is in the ON position.
^     A current HAZARD switch DTC is set.
^     A current HOOD AJAR DTC is set.
^     Rear compartment lid is ajar.
^     Any Door is not locked.
^     The Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) system detects an alarm trigger.
^     Engine RPM greater than 0 Detected.
^     Excessive Coolant TEMP is registered.
^     Accelerator pedal position greater than 0 percent.
^     Vehicle is not in PARK.
^     A current Vehicle Theft Deterrent Malfunction DTC.
^     A current Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control System DTC is set.
^     A vehicle speed sensor signal is detected by the ECM.
^     Vehicle power mode is incorrect.
My guess is there is a current Vehicle Theft Deterrent Malfunction DTC (that isn't lighting up the MIL) caused by the DBALL2, even though it was removed and everything set back to stock, but other ideas are appreciated.

Pull neg. battery terminal or use a OBDII scan tool to reset.
That's why I don't like the GM R/S.
