Hi,
I connect notebook to Avantguard 4 with Cliffnet cable.
Everything seems to work fine - got message about Disarmed system and ignition off. Click Continue and then I got Valet Code prompt looking like this:

It looks strange to me. Is it normal and should I put valet code in New/Confirmation forms ?
I dont know valet code yet (just bought car with 15 year old Clifford Alarm) - going to find it out by brute force ;)

Unfortunately, it doesnt work like this. Anything I put, I got message that valet code is invalid/wrong.
So I dont have current/old Valet Code, and I cant assign any new code.
I asked, becouse that windows looks strange to me - In Current Code I got XXXX, and only place I can enter anything is New/Confirm form.

AG 4 should have the valet code as part of the serial number on the alarm CPU.
Don't throw away, it might be old but it was the best ever unit.

Yeah, I tried it - no luck. Below photo of my box. I guess that according to it, valet code should be 220, 22 ? it cant be 0220 becouse code cant start with 0...

Should be 0220. Your only other answer would be to contact DEI.
Clifford UK would have been able to help before they were swallowed by DEI.

Just a thought, go to the valet switch, press the star button twice, the plain once. If that does anything your Valet code is 2.

I tried entering 0220, 220, 22 by valet switch.
back to first question - is window with valet code prompt correct ? If yes - I should guess code by entering all possibilities by windows macro.

You must remember it's 10-15 years since I've done one ofthese and back then CliffordUK was a phone call away, I said manually enter 2. Try it.
