Hello all,
Recently I have been installing a few more cars with a second starter wire, some I've been able to complete, some I can't even get it to crank. I'd wired the second starter with a relay as follow; 86/87 constant 12v, 85 to -200 MA Starter from the Viper, 30 to second starter, I was able to get a few to crank and start. The problem I'm having is with a 2016 Subaru XV with a dball and a 05 Toyota Solara with a dball, both viper unit (Both has been program with the bitwriter to auto transmission). I'd wired both relays the same as I would with all the other car with a second starter wire. Ground, power and neutral switch is there. What am I doing wrong? Please advise. Thanks

86 should be IGN 1 (12V+ on cranking), test to see if there's an output at 30.
I also diode across 86 and 85, 1N4004, band to 86.
