Goes to BLACK/ white right at ignition

One end is connected to BLACK/ white ignition. From there, runs to relay, relay connects to RED / black.

relay pin 30 goes to BLACK/ white at the ignition switch not RED / black

Stop and read what Kreg posted earlier about the relay, it's triggered from the NEG low current starter wire on the 24 pin plug.

I just checked all the connections again, resoldered some of them and still having the same issue. Any other ideas?

Did you test and verify the wires you made your connection to?
If it's wired properly as you say, it should work.
Test the outputs of the remote start wires for proper volatage during remote start.
When all else fails, Read the Instructions

4 PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2 / FLEX RELAY OUTPUT     4.2, not much change when trying to start
6 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE)     9.8ish volts
7 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE)     9.8ish volts
10 PINK (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT     -2.4, jumps to 25ish volts when trying to start
