Hi all...Purchased a 2004 Lincoln Aviator with an AutoMate AM6 installed but no remote came with vehicle. Ordered a new remote & when I went to program it I came to find out that the valet/programming button was missing. Ordered & installed a new programming button & programmed the remote(s). All is working fine except I am not getting the audible horn confirmation when locking/unlocking. I know the horn is connected to the system as it honked while programming the remote. I've searched all over online & absolutely cannot find any instructions on how to program this feature. Could someone please tell me how I can program the horn to sound when locking/unlocking? Any help would be much appreciated!
I also have another question regarding a replacement remote for the remote start/keyless entry system in my 2004 Ford Expedition, but I cannot remember at the moment what unit is installed so I'll post as a seperate topic.
Thanks,
Jerry
