Hi All,
I have a question on the programing of the DBALL2 for use on a 2016 Honda HRV Push to Start car.
In the programing procedure it says that some vehicles may program the immobilizer bypass in the traditional method with being hooked up to the vehicle, and then some may need to be programed by "Key2GO" method of after failing to program traditional method the DBALL2 is removed from vehicle and hooked up to computer again for the Key2GO programing.
I am wondering if there is a way to know in advance if the DBALL2 can be programed the traditional way ahead of time? I am not able to program it with the Key2GO method, so if my HRV with push to start requires that then I will not be able to program. I don't want to buy the DBALL only to find this out, I would buy another interface module instead of the DBALL2 in this case.
Thanks!

There's no way to tell. In fact, sometimes it won't program at all even with key to go.

Thanks, I assumed this was the case but was hoping I was wrong.
Is there another interface module you would recommend for my 2016 Honda HRV push to start?

any update on this? I have a customer with this same vehicle and I was considering the Fortin all module. guide doesn't show the red flags that the dball2 showed.
