hey guys, I just installed a remote starter in a 2003 dodge caravan
viper 4105v with the dball2. the issue im having is with the hvac system. on direct techs/ direct wire is says there is no acc wire.
the hvac system turns on but the screen on the van is showing the temp in F and the blower motor will not blow air, when taking over the car with the key, the hvac screen changes the temp to C and the fan will start to blow, but under remote start I get no fan, do any of you know how to get the fan to blow under remote strat?
thanks
here is the guide i followed
and double checked https://directechs.blob.core.windows.net/documents/dball-dball2-chrysler2_en_ig_vm20151209.pdf
I saw the info about the 2nd starter wire but the dball2 says it sends the resistor value through data and is not needed, the car starts fine just no fan

Unfortunately I have the same problem. No blower in remote start mode until you turn on the key and step on the brake. The blower comes on just fine when the remote start goes off. I have a Viper 5305V on a 2001 Dodge Caravan. I am hoping that it is a setting issue rather than a wiring issue. Does anyone know if this is correctable?

Hey,
i fixed the issue that I was having, what bypass module are you using? I was using the dball 2 and im a pro installer so i have access to vipers/directed tech support. i called them and they had to make me a custom firmware to fix the issue. now i have stopped using vipers/directed because they give me to many issues. i now mainly install compustar with idatalink or fortin bypass, i done 2 other caravans in the same year range with the fortin byasss and never had that issue.
