I am looking for a 12v relay to use in an automotive application but the standard cube and socket is a bit too big for where I want to put it. Is there another series of automotive relays out there that still has a plug and socket but are a bit smaller?
I really don't want to solder leads to a PC board relay but that is the only thing I have seen so far.
Maximum switching load would be 2 amps. SPST is all that is needed.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Maybe something like this would work for you:

This is just an example. These relays are commonly used for horns and sometimes fuel pumps. Maybe your local parts store has them. If you don't want to crimp pins you can try something like this:

Thanks for the info. Those do look a bit thinner but I don't see any specs. The sockets shown have sliding/daisy chain connectors - may trim them down so not to be wider than the relay itself.
Off to the parts stores tomorrow to see what they have in stock.
