Can somebody help me figure out where the factory security alarm ARM wire is at for a 2006 Subaru Legacy (normal/standard, not GT etc)
I've found a few posts, pictures, and pin-outs online, but they have all been wrong!
Hopefully somebody can tell me it's location at the BIU.
It's not the 35 pin plug @ BIU, pin 3, brown wire. I have a red wire at pin 3 and it does not arm the factory alarm.
some sites/post say 35 pin plug, pin 3, brown wire... some say only arms and disarms with factory remote (I have disarm wire working properly), and some say only arms when locking drivers door while open.
There has to be some way for my rs (compustar cs-800) remote to arm the factory alarm when I lock the doors.... just like the factory remote does.
Please help! Thanks in advance.

yea, there's also things like that posted that say there's no factory disarm wire... transponder and factory fob only!
there has to be some way to arm the factory alarm with the compustar remote when I lock the car.... the factory key fob does it! why can't the compustar fob do it?
I've seen posts where people have found it, but they never post back and tell people which one. the posts are 2-3 years old too, so I can't really ask them.
There's actually a few posts on this form where people ask the same question.... then find it, post back and say OK I figured it out, thanks, then never say which wire it was lol

I did that car a few years back and concluded it's rf controlled by oem remote . Since I was using an alarm with starter kill I just informed customer to only use after market remote for lock and unlock . I do know at one time I i datalink required 2 bypass modules to alarm factory alarm

It's TB-SUB though... for bypass.
not DL-SUB.
about 90 percent of the wiring diagrams do not list the disarm wire and say there is no possible way to disarm the alarm with remote start or bypass, but I did find theverything disarm wire and it disarms my factory alarm great!
I just need to figure out the arm wire so my alarm arms when I lock the car with the compustar remote! I don't want to lug around the factory remote just to arm my alarm... there has to be some way to do it!
