I see there is a wiring for the 2016 model and if anyone knows if the wiring is the same for the 2017s, which I assumed to be the case. Also can someone pin point where i can find photos associated with the alarm install? My Tacoma comes with a factory alarm and would like to use the Toyota soft chirp into my third party alarm system..any info on these questions are greatly appreciated.
Mahalo.

Can anyone confirm if the attached photo is the body ecu (lower plug) and if so do I pull the grey lever to unplug? I need to tap I not the door trigger wires for an alarm install. This plug is on top of the fuse box. Thx. Viper 5706v, 2017 Tacoma with PTS, Dball2 -- posted image.

Has anyone been successfully in installing the subject alarm with the dball2 or dball3? If so can you use the oem wireless entry remote to enable or disable the viper alarm? Am close to buying one on ebay.

I used a DBALL2 with a 4806 in a 2016 Highlander PTS; it uses the same firmware as the Tacoma. The factory remote, and the proximity unlock feature at the door handle, armed and disarmed the aftermarket system in that vehicle. The stock remote also continued working during remote start.

Nice. Did you flash the dball2 yourself? And are you an installer? I'm a DIY and I hope I can download load the firmware and install.

Can anyone tell me if I'm correct in that the green looped wire end of connector should plug into the Viper and not to the shock sensor. See attached photo. Thanks.

Yes. End with the loop goes into the sensor. The end with the Flying Lead goes into the control module. (You can remove it too)

I have not found a straight answer to my question on this forum or elesewhere on the web. Basically my vehicle electronic is remote start ready. Im looking at any of the viper system and want to use it with a dball2 connected with a d2d cable. Vehicle is a tacoma. Do i just need to connect only from the dball to the vehicle which is about 7 wires..power, ground, door locks and unlock, ob2 wiring and stwering lock. The Dball2 monitors the doors trunk pin switch etc. That woukd make an easy jnstall. The only wire i woukd connect from the viper is the siren?
