Just bought the Compustar Pro T11 remote start and alarm for my 2014 Jeep SRT, and the guy said the ADS-ALCA was the better one of the two. But what the hell is the difference between them??? He flashed the ADS module to my Jeep before he shipped it, but will I still have to plug it up to my computer? But can anyone shed some light on what the hell the difference is and what one is better and why? Thanks!!

I like the blade because its less to pack under the dash. I'm pretty sure both work the same way...

For that truck and using a 7200 series module I would prefer the blade over alca just for a neater install. Both modules will do the same thing. As far as connecting to the computer during programming you need to clone the key to the bypass module. That requires you to connect the module to the truck gather the required data. Then go back to the computer and add the data needed to copy the key.

so really no pros or cons to either except the blade has less wires correct? I wonder why the guy said he likes the ALCA over the Blade. Maybe that was his way of pushing the ALCA since thats what he carried. So theres no difference at all except the amount of wires?
Thanks guys
