the place i work for just acquired a 1992 chevy 1-ton with a bucket boom lift, some of the safety was bypassed and also has a remote start wired in to start the truck from the boom to charge the batteries. they had it hooked in with 2-30amp 5 post relays. 2 wires from boom switch, the +12v constant, start and ignition wires. how do i hook it back up?

You said the vehicle had a remote start installed. Many after market remote starters can be activated and deactivated with a negative pulse. Have you located the remote start unit or have you only found two relays and believe this is how they started the vehicle?
For safety reasons, it would be best to have a remote start unit installed properly rather than just using relays to start and stop the vehicle, plus there would be no need to hardwire anything from the boom to the remote start unit, simply use the remote.
In that vehicle, if it is fuel injected, you would only need to supply 12V+ to ignition and pulse the starter wire with 12V+ for it to start and run. Then removing the 12V+ you supplied to the ignition would turn it off.
