Hello everyone

2013 highlander keystart/viper 4806v/ alcaads

I installed this and the rs worked well for 3 weeks but now it no longer start the car. No crank. All dash light come on but shut off.

Shutdow Diagnosic error 5 flashes brake shut down

I did try to reset the module and it worked a few times but then the same thing happened.

During remote start, the module led light turned solid red

Is the module defective? Need to reprogram? Anything else i can check?

5 is usually brake shut down.. meter the brake input to see if it is getting 12V during the start cycle. it should not be getting 12v during the start cycle.
