I removed my old Kenwood CD player and plugged in my new deck. Everything works fine, the bluetooth is great. Never had it before. Problem is…… I have always hooked my stereos to the battery ever since I installed my first one 35 years ago. I can power the deck down, but after a few seconds it lights back up. The Kenwood logo, time and date. It isn't "on" it's just showing off, I think. Any ideas?

Is your red accessory wire connected to the 12v constant yellow battery lead?

Thanks for the reply. I kind of forgot I posted this question.
No, it was completey seperate. I talked to a guy who told me there was a bad internal fuse. I took the unit back and exchanged it for the same and no issues with the new one......
