Just got a 1997 F150 and noticed after a while that the it would automatically lock. Looked around and seems to be there was an alarm installed. I have installed some alarms before so im not new but i just can find the model or brand of this alarm. It looks a bit older. Anybody recognize the brand?
My idea was that if i can get the brand or model i can find a remote and program it. All i was able to find on the unit was a FCC ID#:J5523518T1 and google helped me find the remote on the link below. Im not too familiar with the FCC ID so any input from you guys would be great.

The name of the company was Atlas TRC. There is some info on this site on how to program a new remote. I saw a few on EBay that might work. You could try the programming procedure without a remote just to see if the system responds and flashes the Parking Lights. Here is a link :

Might be just as easy to replace it with a current, better quality model.
Soldering is fun!

The instructions provided worked. Tooke a couple tries but I now have a working remote with the TRC alarm. One weird thing the lock and unlock are controlled by a single button. Press button 1 and locks press button 1 again and unlocks. Button 2 does nothing. Not that I care much but wanted to mention it in case someone else has to go through this in the future.
Thank you guys.
