9 RED/WHITE (+) FUSED 12V IGNITION 2 / FLEX RELAY INPUT 87   - NC
The Red/White wire on the 10 Pin Ignition harness needs to get +12V constant. There should be three
+12V constant wires at the cars ignition harness, Yellow, Brown and Green. Test to be sure.
5 WHITE (+)/(-) SELECTABLE PARKING LIGHT OUTPUT (FUSED) - Parking Light (+) selected on alarm module
The (+)Parking Light should be a Brown wire in the DKP.
Everything else looks OK. You could use a Directed 451M module for the door locks.
Soldering is fun!

Did all my connections and the alarm works great, i also hooked up the door locks following these instructions by Mo12v,
You only need 1 FUSED 12 volt Wire from Constant source and wire Relays to that:
2 SPDT RELAYS:
Cut LOCK & UNLOCK Wire in Half.
One Half goes to SWITCH
One Half goes to ACTUATOR
Relay 1
LOCK:
PIN 87 = 12 Volts ( + ) Constant
PIN 87a = wire from Door Lock Switch
PIN 30 = wire to Actuator
PIN 85 = Negative Lock Output from Alarm
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )
Relay 2
UNLOCK:
PIN 87 = 12 Volts ( + ) Constant
PIN 87a = wire from Door UnLock Switch
PIN 30 = wire to Actuator
PIN 85 = Negative Lock Output from Alarm
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )
but nothing seems to happen when i hit unlock and lock on the remote, when i do it from the switch it works fine, also my remote start doesn't seem to function, i can hear a couple of clicks on the alarm module but no cranking, does this happen because it needs programming? thank again for your time, Viper 5305v, 1997 Ford Crown Victoria -- posted image.

They delivered the relays today, i tried hooking them up, like i mentioned in a prior post, couldn't wait for the 451m, all the locks work well manually, but the remote doesn't unlock them, also after a few tries, one of the wires, the unlock wire (pink/light green) the side that goes to the actuator melted right off, luckily i was there when it happened, so i pulled the fuse and saved it, everything works, nothing fried, i changed the wire out, but am afraid to reconnect, i will wait for the Directed 451M module, tuesday is delivery date, just wanted to report this so nobody else has this problem, thanks again, i will post again when done installing the hood pin, trunk pin, and trunk release, and of course door locks.

The 451M won't help with that problem, it's wired to the car the same way your relays are. It is just a nice compact package with internal relays that plugs right into the Viper unit. The issue is with your wiring or the vehicle wires you selected. Download Directed Tech Tip 1041. It is choke full of good info on vehicle door lock systems. Your truck is definitely Type C locks unless it came with Remote Keyless Entry from the factory or has the door keypad. The 1041 guide gives instructions for finding and the testing the correct vehicle wires.
Soldering is fun!

I thought i must have connected it wrong, or that for some unknown reason that diagram doesn't work for my crown vic, Viper 5305v, 1997 Ford Crown Victoria -- posted image. My car didn't come with keyless entry, it definitely is a TYPE C, i will download Directed Tech Tip 1041, and do a little research, thanks again for your time kreg357, very much appreciated Viper 5305v, 1997 Ford Crown Victoria -- posted image.
