The electronic control box on my bedcover went out and the replacement part is $338. I've very rarely used the remote since I installed a manual switch (which is wired into the control box). So I would like to just eliminate the control box and operate it solely from the manual switch. I currently have momentary rocker switch-one side opens it, other closes.The cover also has an electromagnetic brake that locks cover in place when you press button again to stop travel. There is 2 wires for motor and 2 for the brake coming from the control box. What relay configuration would I need? Also I'm curious as to what kills the motor when it stops at tailgate. I don't want the motor to keep trying when it closes. The obvious easy fix is to pony up the $338 but I'm thinking there's got to be a workaround. Thanks in advance
