2013 F150 Lariat. Would it be possible to add some sort of timed relay to auto lock the doors, upon exit and key removal say 45 seconds later. Truck has exterior keypad so there is no concern of being locked out.

I do not see anyway you could modify this to do what you are wanting to do. I really think you will need to add an alarm or a keyless entry system to accomplish what you want to do. To modify the above you would need to change the ignition wire to a constant wire. This would yield a 160 milliamp draw on your battery. If you go more than a day not driving the vehicle you will return to a flat or dead battery. After looking at it again, the draw would not be 160 milliamps. Might take a few days to kill the battery.

Thanks, the vehicle already has a keyless entry. I am just trying to install a backup "auto" door lock system.
Thanks
