Hello everyone im new to this forum. I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee, i have been reading alot of forums a threads on this subject. I just can not find the answer to it. Im trying to hardwire a dei 556uw interface to the sentry key immobiler. The truck has a nonworking aps996a alarm/remote start w/ a dei 455j lock interface and a dei 555c immobilizer interface. Im installing an aps 997e alarm/remote start w/ a dei 457cw lock inter and a dei 556uw immobilizer inter.Dei 556uw hardwire to sentry key immobilizer -- posted image.

I got this on one of the threads.
I have read harding it is the best way. So my question would be what is the best way? And if i hardwire it which way is the best and which wires would i connect to the wires on the sentry wire harness.

Not a option on that truck. The factory transponder antenna wiring doesn't come out of the sentry module.

Thank you very much for your help. Question on the dei 457cw door lock interface, do i need to use a relay with that unit?

There are no relays on the diagram. What do you want to use it for?
