So i installed my avital 5305 in my civic With 2 wire door lock actuators.. neg lock outputs going to the negative side of relays.... Everything worked great for a month then doors quit locking/unlocking.... So i checked the wiring... And the car side of working is perfect...i ground relay and doors lock and unlock as they should..... BUT the alarm isn't outputting a neg signal any more... It's more like 5v instead of a neg signal.....
I tested relays before hand and they pulled 125mw turned on... So that's well within the 500mw limit...
Every other output works perfect... JUST the door lock signals quit working????
I don't get it.... What did i do wrong?
Is this a common problem with alarms?
I got the alarm off Amazon... Doubt they will allow a refund now....
Let me know what u guys think...
Thanks

check your grounds. if all is good its a bunk alarm. you could tru using the factory alarm arm and disarm wires instead if those still function.
