I have installed a remote start in a 2002 ford focus. After finding the wires for the door locks and testing them, I hooked them up. However, once the car is started the factory keyless entry and the aftermarket do not work. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to go directly to the lock and unlock motors to overcome this problem. Here is a copy of the wire code I used.

Always remember to test wires with a Digital Multimeter!
