best 10'' sub for 94 ranger?

would the dvc 10 be alright with 300~ watts rms?  or would i be better off with the titanium series running 1000 watts to a dvc10

wait that was a stupid question i know which would be better, what i was really asking is do the alums. have a decient output even if being underpowered ?

I would not underpower the aluminum, but if u have 1000 watts then i would DEF get the titanium. I have an Eclipse aluminum 15 at about 575 watts and all i have to say is daaaaaamn. I would suggest you use fiberglass to build this system also.dream it, build it, fiberglass it

Perhaps a 10" is not the best for a tight fit. I have a 99 Ranger x-cab. I am very familiar w/ the lack of space in the standard cab. Perhaps you should look into running multiple 8" subs.You could run quite a few 8's & they require minimal depth & Volume. Plus the bass is VERY tight! You sacrifice a little low end, however w/ the small amount of airspace in the entire cab, you will not have much low end bass anyway. I have 4 8" Kicker Comp VR subs running in stereo on 205watts RMS each. All are in a sealled encloser @ .65 cu FT apeice. I have low bass (approx 35hz/down) only when the windows are all down. But a little AC/DC Back in Black feels like a Tyson Kidney punch. Check into it.
