Situation: I have a 2001 alero that I put a remote start and security into. I've done many starters before. This one works fine if it is warm outside or the car has been warmed up. But goes into security protection mode if it is a cold start like in the morning when I wake up(defeats purpose of starter).
I was wondering if anyone had some ideas of why it is doing this?
Maybe needs new battery(only 18months old though).
Is there a FASD wire that I'm missing. Diagram says no but I swear that is the problem(Have the PASSII hooked up right otherwise it wouldn't start warm).
Thanks in advance for anyone who reads this and can reply with some helpful info,
derrick

Goes into security mode when its cold as if the bypass was not there?

If so I have run into that problem turns out that the bypass had a cold solder joint and when it was cold would not work but when its above 45 it works fine.
