I am looking for the wiring diagrams on a 2002 Jaguar S-Type.  I have heard horror stories about this damn thing already, but I am going to attempt it anyways.  If anyone knows the wiring diagrams for it that would be great, I would need just remote start and door lock diagrams.  Does it need a Passkey of some sort, I can't find any info on this damn car anywhere.  All I know is that I need to start buying relays from what I have heard.  Any info is greatly appreciaited, thanks

Jeff

Thanks very much, I was under the impression that the Jag's had negative wiring and I needed to convert with relays, maybe the older ones did, I don't know.  Any other tips on setting this up would be great.  I have tons of info now, thanks to Auex.  It doesn't sound like it will be that big of a pain to do now.

Can anyone tell me a little more where some of these wires are located.  It's not that I haven't done these installs before, just never on a Jag.  I am looking for heavy gauge ignition wires and I cannot find anything anywhere.  I try following the wires coming off of the ignition but they get all weaved in with a bunch of other wires.  The car is completey gutted right now.  It got hit on the drivers side and needs to be repaired, but I had to take out all the carpet, dash, seats, and plastic anywhere, it looks like it just came from a chop shop.  All I see where the dash used to be is wires EVERYWHERE.  If you could point me in the right direction a little more I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks much.

Jeff

The new have to have that strip replaced on the side. The side panels..you may want to call the customer and let them know that. After you get that up you can pull up the carpet. I don't see why you would need the carpet up to do an alarm though.

There must have been a misunderstanding.  I was just stating that the car had been totalled out and all the carpet, seats, dash, etc. have been pulled out for the repair to happen, and I have access to all the wires and figured it would be really easy to just put the remote start in now considering its all gutted out.  So I still don't know where I can find the heavy gauge ignition wires at??

^ there are none, all the wires at the back of the ignition switch are rather small.
