Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I have been an anonymous user for a few moths , just browsing an looking up general stuff. I just installed a CT-3300 remote start/keyless entry module with a DEI 555g bypass module on my Montana.

The starter works perfectly but I can't get the keyless entry feature to work. My factory key fob works fine along with my door switches.The Montana does NOT have a factory alarm system , only keyless entry. I have searched every possible word combination looking for some help on this site, but all i get are two possibilities, either lt. blue and white or RED / black and ORANGE / black wire connections. I've tried the lt. blue and white, but I don't want to start "plugging" in every combination in case I fry something .My only unceratainty is that the door lock polarity could be positive and my CT-3300 output for doors is negative.

I would appreciate a reply from somebody who has done this set up before and can confirm which wires to hook up because the "directwire" schematic has'nt helped me with this door lock dillema.

Thanks in advance, Don.

2005 Montana door locks -- posted image. Vehicle notes
PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with TRANSPONDER chips in the ignition keys. This system must be bypassed for Remote Starter installation. A keyless bypass module may be available, contact your distributor to find out. If one of these modules is not available to you, see the appropriate security diagram for bypass instructions.
* The ignition Control module is located at the back of the engine and is difficult to access. You can find the WHITE wire in the large loom passing over the top of the engine. See the exploded view.
** These wires can also be found at the BCM. If you are using the factory security wires (RED / black & ORANGE / black) you do not need to use the doorlock wires (blue & white), as the security wires control the locks as well. Unlocking the doors with the ORANGE / BLACK will require a long pulse (2 sec.). The BCM is located above the right kickpanel. See the available graphics.
*** The Body Control Module is located above the right side kickpanel. See the available graphics.
**** This wire will both open and close the sliding door/doors with a momentary ground (-) pulse. You can also find this wire in the right front pillar.
***** The sun roof module is located above the roof liner just in front of the sunroof.
****** This wire can also be found at the Body Control Module located above the right kickpanel. See the available graphics.

I hope thi is of some  help. The door lock wires on this vehicle are Negative trigger so you should not need to add any relays.

Lt Blue = lock(-)

White = unlock(-)

      Hook these wires directly to the (-) lock/unlock wires from CT-3300.

I agree with craig3708....all the digging I did came up with the same answer, based on you saying the vehicle has NO security. Straight negative pulse!!
