Hello, all,

I have recently acquired a Audiovox Pursuit PRO 9232a Keyless Entry Alarm Upgrade kit which I will be installing on my 2001 Ford F-150 Lightning. I have all of the installation instructions, plus a wiring color/location chart for the truck.

However, there seem to be several installation options (for instance, how to wire the door locks) that vary based on what type of vehicle the unit will be installed on. Is there anyone out there who perhaps has installed this particular unit into a 2001 F-150 who might be able to provide me with specific wiring information for this particular vehicle...?

All assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

If the truck has factory keyless....locks are NEG(-) pulse...If NO factory keyless, they are reverse polarity.   The wires are found at the keyless module/ alarm.Im gonna think the truck came with keyless. Unlock is pink/green, disarm is GREEN/ purple...and to lock and arm, use the red, and the yellow. They are the wires for the 7/8 9/0 keyless buttons on the door. Trigger them at the same time, and diode isolate....

KarTuneMan: Thanks for the response. Not sure about your reference to "keyless". The vehicle does NOT have the keypad on the driver's door. However, I do have the remote keyfobs to lock/unlock the doors without a key.

Thanks again.

Cheers!
