I dont have an install guide, but I've installed quite a few of these. What problems are you having? Is it wiring, or the dipswitch settings? Also, I've seen the "speaker" (the part that looks like a siren) go bad on a few, so you may want to test it with an ordinary speaker to see if you are getting any output from the two brown "speaker" leads.

You have one of the dipswitches set wrong. Let me get back to you on this, I'm gonna try and find the correct order they need to be flipped to generate the armed/disarmed AND warn away messages.

Try changing the 4th dipswitch, see if that works.

It says Viper Disarmed when i turn the key on and then Viper Armed when i turn the key off.  Do you know what wires go where.  Oh yeah it started sayin that when i fliped the 4th dipswitch.

Sounds like yer getting feed back thru the orange wire. You must also have a starter kill relay connected to the same orange wire coming from your alarm. All you have to do is diode isolate them and that should solve your problem. Just wire in two diodes like a "Y" to the orange wire coming from your alarm. Connect the sides with the stripe together and that side should be facing the alarm. Now connect the orange wire from the 516u to one of the diodes, and the starter kill relay to the other diode.

i read my installation guide for the alarm and it said that i had to install a diode on the orange wire if i wanted the add an addition module.  I insalled one and it works great.  Thank you so much for the info.
