hey right now i have 4 12in memphis power references in a sealed box. i am powering it by a jbl bp1200.1 right now the amp is turned down quite a bit becuase i am over powering the subs they are only rated at like around 250 each. I am not sure what to do with setup, i am thinking of a few ideas. either porting the box or adding 2 more 12's and jsut going with 6 sealed. I might even be able to port the 6 12's, so if i could would taht be my loudest setup? And also i know taht just adding subs and not giving them more power is not gonna really be louder but if i added the 2 more 12's and turned my amp up alot more would i eliminate that? thanks alot

If you added more cone area and more power, you should have a noticable increase. If you also went with a ported box you would gain that much more. Just the box would make a good bit of difference.

don't know. maybe wiring each sub in series to 8 ohms & then running all in parallel to each other. not sure what ohm load this would achieve. does anyone know how to configure this?
