Use the wiring diagram to help locate the wires but PLEASE do test each wire for the proper function before hooking to it. There are alot of wires that use similar colors and the diagram colors can always have a few variations from the vehicle.

hi everyone. ive just installed a code alarm ca-120 alarm in my 2004 dodge dakota. i have a big problem. first is the truck had no factory alarm installed. the only thing that i hooked up was the door pin switch and the parking lights. the problem is if i hook the siren up it will scream and not stop. it doesnt matter if i disarm the alarm or not. however i noticed that if the siren isnt hooked up i can disarm the alarm and arm it just fine. i know this because when i arm it and disarm it with the siren not hooked up, i can see the parking lights flash to tell me. but also, heres another thing, i took the fuses out of the main power lines and the led still flashes. i also noticed that there is a clicking sound, almost like an on bourd relay click for around 8 sec. and then it stops with the fuses taken out of the system.  the truck does not have power locks nor windows. and i felt as if i hooked everything up right because the lights will flash, the alarm turns off when i start the truck. it will arm and disarm without the siren hooked up, but once the siren is hooked up, you cant shut it off. also, the instuctions say that the remotes has been factory programed, so i tried reprograming the remotes and that still hasnt worked. please help! jeff

Try cheking your power, & ignition wires.  Its posible that you grabbed the wong power and ignition.  Test the wires for voltage.
