I didn't actually install anything yet, but if what you said is the case, then I shouldn't need to connect the Factory alarm disarm/rearm wires from the DEI Valet ???

Use yellow/red for disarm-unlock (double pulse). And yellow for lock-arm. Both are found at the SECU NEG(-) pulse.

So then I have to connect the Valet 561r  Lock & unlock wires and  factory alarm Arm & Disarm wires to the above quoted  wires?
