 help  alpine  6 disc cd changer 5952z came up  with error1 disc malfuntion or magazine malfunction  try reset  did not help.

You have a disc jammed in the changer that came out of it's cartridge. Take off the changer casing and manaully eject the cartridge. Find the disc that's jammed and remove it. Should work after this.

Check to see if the M-bus cable is damaged anywhere. This could cause an error message to come up and if it is in good condition you call 1-800-ALPINE-1 and talk to a tech that will help you out.
