go to techservices.audiovox.com and resister for free. Its not as badass as directechs but it will get you by. I would have just copy and pasted but it would have looked like crap on here, and I'm too lazy to edit it all up.Ever since directechs has changed the site, its now integrated into my works portal, so i haven't been able to access it from home

All, I have 08 ford F250 Diesel 4 door with factory Power locks and Keyless entry. I have 2 remaining issues I've yet to resolve. I'm unclear about the power Door locks what style they are and how to hook the alarm wires into them. The DEI Alarm Manual 5900 SST says Light Blue -- (+) LOCK (-) UNLOCK OUTPUT Green (-) LOCK(+) UNLOCK OUTPUT
My Schematic has two options 1- Standard Vehicle 1- Optional Factory wireless entry system (This is what I have)
Audiovox Says---

DEI says----

They both say similar but different things. I also read the How to Tell what system I have. But was left more confused. and dont want to experiment then burn up something. Can some one tell me what system I have? and if I need to have relays etc.. Thanks to all in Advance. -=Sam ___________________________________________ SamRod |

green to blue/lt. green lt. blue to yellow/purple The motor wires don't get used unless you want 2-step unlocking (Hit unlock once drivers door unlocks, hit it again the remaining doors unlock). |

All. I have and 08 F250 Diesel Ford Superduty. I installed an DEI Immobilizer Platform 04 Firmware PKFORD I wired it in, and Programmed. With the key near the Key switch my vehicle starts. If I take the key away from the key switch NO GO I get the SECURITY LIGHT in the DASH MSG. I hear All the vehicle electronics start but no START. I tried to reset and re-program the unit Many times. same results. I tried reversing the RX/TX wires NO go. I made sure No ground was present at the Brown wire. still No Go. any suggestions? Thanks in Advance Sam

| The brown wire needs to see a ground during the remote start process. This is what turns on the bypass. Hook it up to the ground while running wire of the remote start. |

Great I will give that a try.
I would like to have the two step unlocking though. What would be the wiring of that? -=Sam ___________________________________________ SamRod |
