Hi there.
Can anybody tell me how to get my scroll button (the four-way button between my "left click" and "right click") working again.
I had to reformat my Acer Apsire 5630 and since then my Vol+,Vol- and scroll buttons don't work. i can live without the vol buttons but i really miss the scroll button.......
Any help........PLEASE!!!!

Reinstall the acer software suite, but this is a 12v forum. Now if you want to know how to overvolt that USB bus, welllllll... that's another story.
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

And that would have what to do with a mouse/keyboard application suite?

No. I can build you one out of the spare alarm parts I have. He won't run fast but, he's electrifying, none the less.

He might just have the PC in his car.    But just as the dude on the horse stated, if you install the acer software, your volume controls and scroll functions should return.  It may also be the drivers for the Synaptics Touchpad.   http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5630.html
