Well im new to the forum so i thought id throw up my setup and see what everyone thinks. I decided to get a complete Alpine system in my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Lemme Know what you think of the setup and not finished pics...

(1) Alpine IVA-D310 HeadUnit
(2) SWX-1243D Type X Subs
(2) PDX 1.1000 Amplifiers
(1) MRA-D550 Amplifer (5 channel)
(1) Alpine SBS-0715 (Center Channel Speaker)

Door speakers are old skool Alpine Type S Speakers

Ill post a finished pic here in a couple days..

What are you using the 5th ch. for? The center channel?

Yea, its used for the center channel. Its a tru 5 channel unlike most 5 channels where the 5th channel is for a sub, this one it is actually for a center speaker due to the amp having dolby dig 5.1 surround sound with built in 30band processor.

Here are the pictures of the system complete. I dont have the ring on around the headunit and the capacitor is not installed due to it getting replaced under warranty

slick looks very well put together. Just a friendly tip take the cap back and buy a yellow top to throw back there. You will be way happier than with the cap. Just advice get on the car audio forum and ask some of the guys about caps and get there opinion too. But  nice looking system welcome to the 12 volt

That's a nice setup! One question, do the amps get hot being covered around the sides like that? Or do you have a fan setup under there?

I also forgot to mention for those interested..When i went to pick it up i wanted to see how loud my setup was, so they (soundcrafters/iasca) put me on the meter and i hit a 137.4 listening to flo rida - elevator. Im sure now that everything is broken in and with something better i could def be a lot louder.
