ever since i installed the new internet explorer 8 i get this message when ever i try to use Veh wiring or any of those links above (Some individuals have used programs to copy this entire website to there computer for offline browsing. While this may be a large benefit to them, it causes a lot of performance problems with this website and is considered a Denial of Service attack.)
The browser that you are using appears to be from such a program. Please use a common browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or Netscape Navigator. You will not only benefit from acquiring content, but it will also be guaranteed to be the latest information available from this website.

No, it says you appear to be using a client that can be used to automatically copy a site. Click on the link below, then copy and paste the entire contents of the page back into your reply. http://www.the12volt.com/browserchk.asp ___________________________________________

With the browser you just used to visit that page and post in this forum, you should not see the message you posted in your first post. Please post a link to the URL that is displaying that message to you and I will check it further. ___________________________________________

I plugged in your User Agent as my browser and I am not getting the message on any page. What other software are you running when you browse this site? ___________________________________________

Based on what you've provided me, the message is not being displayed as a result of the browser info you posted above. The message you saw is based on that info alone and when I plug in the User Agent you listed as my own, the message is not displayed. Are you using any type of offline browser or explorer? If so, please try disabling it. ___________________________________________

Rebooting is not going to change any settings in any other programs or plug-ins you may have. There's a good chance you have a plug-in or offline browsing enabled that's broadcasting as a different User Agent. The only way to get that message is if you are using a known User Agent that is used for offline browsing and automated web site downloading. Have you tried browsing the site with Firefox or some other browser? And if so, do you still get the same message? If you have tried a different browser and are able to view the pages without the message, then you most likely have a third party plug-in for IE 8 or an offline browsing setting that needs to be disabled. ___________________________________________
