Those streamers are actually functional on some Motorcycles. They are there so the driver can, at a quick glance tell if the bike is in motion. Thus letting the driver know if it is safe to put feet down and exit the bike. Not so much needed on your bike. Thanks for the star.

I don't know about the weather where you are. But it has been 98 or above for the last 12 days. We set a record. I ride everyday. I just can't see trying to ride for enjoyment in this weather. It is downright ridiculous here. Can't wait for the upcoming week. Rain and Highs of 90 and even a day of 88. Can't wait.

I knew where you were, I just didn't know if the lake affected your temperature. I had a beautiful ride today. I think it got to 92 and I got to ride home in the rain. It was great. ___________________________________ So tell me, How is that "Hope and Change" working out for you?

The heat index has been in triple digits here for at least the past two weeks or so. The lake has little affect on us, unlike the south shore. I just stepped outside for the first time today. It doesn't feel bad, but it's still wet and I'm nursing a pinched nerve in my left shoulder/upper back, so no riding for me today :( ___________________________________ the12volt • Support the12volt.com

iaai, the weather was a treat tonight. Hope you were able to enjoy it. I rode a few hours this evening with my neighbor. Looking forward to more of the same tomorrow ...bike night.
