i want to put a flipdown monitor in a 2001 chevy suberban but when i remove the rear control you cant control it from the front does anyone know how to bypass the aux control so it thinks that it is there? Thnaks in advance.

Relocate it to inside the B pillar on whichever side the harness is routed. Wrap it in foam so it does not rattle.

There is not enough room for the shroud and control. You will have to remove the control from the shroud, but you will not have to dis assemble the control piece itself.
