It will require a bypass. A 556u will work, but you will end up loosing a key. I suggest you use a databypass where no key will be hidden. Everyone has their own opinion on bypasses. I prefer using Fortin pieces. The Key-Override-All would work, but since your in the states, picking up a bypasskits or idatalink modules would be cheaper. Good luck ___________________________________ Ted

Use Idatalink and the factory remotes will still work when you remote start it. ___________________________________ Mike M2

| Thank you for the Idatalink, I have a 08 and this looks like it makes installing an alarm much easier. |

what does the bypass have to do with the remotes working? its the vehicle that locks out the remotes when the ignition is on how would a bypass make any difference ___________________________________ "Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd

idatalink has a firmware for their modules where it allows the factory fobs to work while the ignition is still on for toyotas ___________________________________ Ted
