Ive done "basic" car stereo for several years and have always wanted to be more advanced and get into the custom line. Here is the first custom project Ive done. It's molding a monitor into the dash (upper glove box) of a 2009 Tundra. These are some build pictures, I'll hopefully get some pictures of the completed install up tonight. PLEASE tell me what you think and any comments, suggestions. Thanks!I really look forward to hearing your feedback. Good and bad :-)

thanks! Here are some completed install pics. Please let me know what you think of the final outcome. I'd really like some feedback
Equipment included:
* Kenwood DNX7140 DVD Nav
* JVC Arsenal CSA5 1/4 for back doors
* Polk dB6501 6 1/2 Comp set for Front Doors
* Alpine 50 x 4 Amp for speakers
* 11" overhead monitor
* 7" 'headrest' monitor molded into upper glove box
* 4 gauge amp kit (I know could have gone smaller)
* Set of RCA cables
* 2 sets of RCA "splitters" to connect the two monitors to the AV out of the Kenwood
Kenwood DNX7140

Used the Factory AV input for the Kenwood's USB plug

All the work looks great, but that passenger side tv is F'N SICK! I've always felt that the best work is accomplished by making something aftermarket look OEM... That tv looks lke toyota put it there.... Good job

Thank you! That's the ultimate compliment :-) That was the main goal to make it custom but look completely OEM. I was pleased with the finished product. Only thing I wish I would have done different is have gone with a better quality monitor. Compared to the in-dash Kenwood the colors and overall picture quality is certainly noticeable.
This install was in a friends truck who was nice enough to let me "practice" on his. Im hopeful once I get some money saved up to do the same to mine as I also have an '09 Tundra.

| That looks great. Like others have said, that passenger side screen looks factory. That's kinda what I want to accomplish with a screen in the overhead console. |
