| Look at wiring diagram for what I mean. Need to relay isolate to preventstarter grind on key take over . And will double pulse work for disarming the factory alarm. Look at wiring diagram and let me know . Thanks for help. |

Compustar should have double pulse built in. They also give you a diagram for the supplied relay. All in the installation guide, if not as follows:-
86 ignition input/output
85 ground when armed output from Compustar
cut starter lead and key side to 87A
starter side to 30
MY modification,
starter output from Compustar to 87.
1N4004 diode across 85 and 86, band or cathode to 86.

Sorry I'm getting confused with someone else hi-jacking this post.
Lucasoil4u, read the instructions, the anti grind relay is built in on current DEI (Viper) product.
Cut the starter wire, green to key side and violet to starter side.
If you think you can do this on a 2011 without a by-pass good luck.

does anyone know if the 2012 soul has the same wiring? i know some things are different with the 2012 but could i still go by this?
