| We have a tint/alarm shop and looking to carry a bluetooth line and tracking systems . whats a good reliable line thats not too expensive( paying for name like parrot) where you can make a decent markup with installation . . Something like the quality of audiovox alarms which is reliable but not over priced like vipor . Any sugestions ? |

We deal with Advent, Mantis and Scosche. Advent makes good OEM looking switches for the Bluetooth interfaces and Scosche has national advertising that helps the name sell and Mantis ( at least for us ) sell really well because of cost and performance for the money. ___________________________________ Jeff

| I have installed literally hundreds of bluetooth products. I sell both parrot and motorola. As far as quality goes, I've only had one parrot kit come back for service, and even then it was after the warranty expired. Occasionally they do have a software glitch, but this can corrected over the phone by having the customer "reboot" |

We only get Parrot Motorola and Nokia over here, Parrot has good public perception, there are many head unit adaptor kits available, the 3100 has the best mic of any car kit I've tried over the years, your profit will mainly come from installation labour.
The only 2 caveats about Parrot are:
1) Occasional software glitches as already mentioned, reboot phone including removing SIM card if it has one.
2) Never trap or pinch the lead going to the display head. ___________________________________ Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first.
Read the installation manual, do a search here for your vehicle wiring. |
