Can you please help me i am trying to fit a gp1000t alarm to my yzf600r bike

and i can not get it to work fully in the install pdf the yellow wire says

Yellow ignition input (+)12 V

Connect this wire to any ignition wire on the motorcycle that remains positive while

the starter button is pressed. It will report on zone 6 if triggered when armed. when i do this the alarm activates when i turn the key to on

When alarm is off

usually Clifford is 2 chirps-armed 1 chirp -disarm
