I'm wanting to replace the oem speakers in my front doors. I'm afraid of tearing up the door panels trying to remove them. Does anyone have any information on removing the panels on the new body style Chevy trucks? I've done a search but haven't found anything. It probably doesn't make any difference, but it's an extended cab model. Thanks.

I do not have any valuable info about removing the panel, but I can tell you that it is an easy vehicle to do. My installers fight over who is going to get to do them when they come in. I can also tell you that you will have to build a plate to mount them. If nobody helps you before the morning, I will get some info for you.

Glad to hear that it is an easy job. I'd appreciate any info on how to do it. I thought that 6 1/2" speakers would bolt right in. Apparently not... Thanks for the reply!
