I'm doing an extremely simple alarm install in a Vulcan 1700 Voyager, no starter kill, just sound and (hopefully) visual, lights flashing. I have not been able to find a good trigger wire for the hazard lights, so I can just connect my signal wire out from the alarm. I'm trying at my best to avoid multiple splicing and the use of a relay. There is an orange wire at the tail light connector near the battery, what is that wire for?, it sends a signal with very minimal voltage, when the hazard lights are turned on, Alternative I will try the fog lights, but have not checked the voltage on the fog light switch yet. Any help on where to tap is appreciated. ___________________________________ Always test. When in doubt, read and study. If still in doubt, read some more.
