Noooo.... the wires from the Pioneer. The red, yellow and black wires are what turns the radio on. If you have no power at the radio then your radio will not turn on, kinda makes sense right? Are you using a harness like I suggested??? Or, did you splice into the factory wiring??? If you spliced into the factory wiring you may have blown a fuse in the car supplying the power to the radio cavity. There are always 2 fuses in a car that runs the radio. You could have blown one or both. But FIRST, check to see if you have power like I said before. |

which wire doesn't have power? The red one or the yellow one?
One fuse is at the drivers side fusebox - fuse #31
the other fuses are at the fuse box under the hood - fuses #11 & 19
Fuse 19 might be for the amplifier since its a 30 amp fuse. If you don't have a factory amp in your car, the fuse might not be there.
All fuses are listed in the Car's handbook, check it out. Also they "might" be listed on the fuse box lids.
They are labeled RAD No 1, RAD No 2, RAD No 3. RAD No. 3 is for the amplifier. RAD No. 1 and RAD No. 2 are for the radio |
