I have a 98 Chevy Astro van. At the present point in time I have disabled the low beam DRLs, because I am running HIDs. What I want to do is wire up the high beams at a reduced intensity. While this would normally be an easy task, only having to find a circuit that is live only when the key is in the run position. However, I also have the headlights wired in a 4-HI setup so when the high beams are on, all of the headlights are on.
The 4-Hi is a single relay, 86-ground, 30-12v, 85-high, 87-low. Also there are caps on the low beam side just ahead of the ballast to store power so that i can switch from low to 4-HI without the low beams going out.
Any help would be appreciated. ___________________________________ 1998 Chevrolet Astro AWD |
