I have a 2002 f250. im putting in heated mirrors from a 2005, i have run all the wires and have the drivers side working, powered by a toggle switch in the dash. I need to hook up the pass side and I believe i need a relay? A SPDT will work, but im not sure why I will have 87a, an unused wire, hot when the mirrors are not turned on. Any advice would be appreciated. ___________________________________ Dan |

If you run your power source to 87 rather than 30, then 87a won't be live and even if it was it won't draw any juice if not connected.
Or use a 4 pin relay. ___________________________________ Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first.
Read the installation manual, do a search here for your vehicle wiring. |
